GRATITUDE...

 

Total appreciation for the weather today...

I left house this morning for a walk to find how cold it was...

So I chose to head back after a while... here I found an elderly gentleman from the #eraofbackthenthoughtprocess to be stumbling along at a great pace... having to stop every now and then... I caught up to him and asked if he was alright... Yes dear I am ... thankyou... would you like me to walk with you? I said as he was heading to a bus stop... no I will be ok... a few stumbles later I decided to share his journey with him. He looked like a drunk (perception) in the way he was verying and stumbling yet he was not... You know my inner feeling was he was of a generation of make a time and be there at all costs... he has a bus to catch so we got to my drive and said would you like me to walk you the rest of the way... #generationnohelprequired... answered no dear I will be alright... then he progressed to miss the water tap mains and fall over by the pole.. so I ventured over and said you alright... oh yes dear this happens... well u just sit there I said... nec minnit one neighbour was leaving for an appt somewhere I said would you mind helping me.. I feel he is alright he has just over done it... oh oh ... now she was stumbling... I have an appt... I said oh thats ok as now the next neighbour was driving out the drive, so I say to her can you help me I am unsure what to do with this man... she says ohh... I have an apptment... then she looks... she said ok... so head back to the man who now realises he may miss the bus... lets go of control... and we get him to his feet where he walking almost 50x better than he was... and the lovely neighbour offers to drive him to the bus stop on the way....
So grateful I am ... it is not what I know i do... yet i know the weather played a big role in placing me where I needed to be... and that my friends is exactly how I live... right here ... right now...
